Information we collect

• No account needed. We do not require you to register or provide personal details to browse the site.
• Reviews you submit. If you write a review, the display name, star rating and review text you enter are stored on our servers and shown publicly with the title. Please don't include personal information you don't want to be public.
• Your watchlist. Saved titles are stored locally in your browser (local storage) on your device — they are not sent to or stored by us.
• Region preference. A small cookie (amv_country) remembers the country you choose so we can show the right streaming availability. It is not used for advertising.
• Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and our content-delivery/security provider (Cloudflare) process your IP address and basic request information to deliver the site, keep it secure, and determine your country so we can show region-appropriate availability. We do not use this to identify you personally.

How we use information

• To operate, maintain and improve the service.
• To show streaming availability relevant to your country.
• To display the reviews that users choose to submit.
• To protect the site against abuse, spam and fraud.

Cookies & local storage

We use a single preference cookie for your chosen region and your browser's local storage for your watchlist. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings; doing so will reset your region preference and watchlist.

Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal information. The site links out to third-party streaming services (for example, to search for a title on a provider) — those services have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave Amchimovie. Service providers that help us run the site (such as our hosting and CDN/security provider) process data on our behalf.

Data retention

Reviews remain published until you ask us to remove them or we remove them under these terms. Technical logs are kept only for a short period for security and diagnostics.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have submitted (such as a review) by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or applicable local regulations.

Children

Amchimovie is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

International processing

Amchimovie is available worldwide and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
