He is known for his roles as Aaron Samuels in the comedy film Mean Girls (2004), Bud McNulty in Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005), the title character in the comedy Van Wilder: Freshman Year (2009), and his recurring role as Casey Gant in the mystery drama series Veronica Mars.
