Big Jay Oakerson began his career as a stand-up comedian in Philadelphia and later performed as an opening act for Dave Attell, among others. He gained recognition through appearances in shows such as *Comedy Central Presents*, *Inside Amy Schumer*, *Louie*, and *Crashing*. In 2016, he released his first stand-up special, *Live At Webster Hall*.
