Dan Chisu is the organizer of DaKINO International Film Festival. The oldest film festival in Romania, held every year in Bucharest since 1991. He made a series of documentaries for television: Around the World in 80 Days (2004), Reality of a Myth - Peruvian Shamans (2007), The Earth's Taste in 80 Spices (2008). He produced and starred in a TV Show called "I Eat, Therefore I Am" which was broadcast four years on a national television. He also published books: "Alone Under the Shower" (2004) and "The Studio in the Forest of Cranes", "100 Times About", "Stories About Recipes" - 2 volumes. In 2008 directed his first feature film, "WebSiteStory". An independent production, released in 2010. His second film, "Ursul (The Bear)" released in the spring of 2011. "Si Caii Sunt Verzi pe Pereti (Chasing Rainbows)", his third film, released in November 2012. Currently he is in post-production with 2 feature projects: Deja Vu (dir.
