Chris Fudge is a Canadian director, cinematographer, and photographer originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia. His debut short film Ransom (2016) screened at four international film festivals and won multiple awards, including ‘Best Thriller Short’ at the Hollywood International Motion Pictures Film Festival in California. Building on that success, Chris wrote and produced Underneath the Makeup, There’s Me (2016), a compelling short about a transgender teen facing an identity crisis. The film screened at international human rights festivals in India, the United States, and Ukraine, and received several awards, including honors in Indiana, Arkansas, and the ‘LGBT Short Award’ at the Hollywood International Motion Pictures Film Festival. Chris was invited to attend the red carpet screening at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood and was later featured in Canadian media, including a live interview with VOCM Radio. In 2017, his short Return to Form was accepted into the Atlantic Film Festival in Halifax, and in 2018, Apprehension was selected for the Short and Sweet Film Festival at the Marilyn Monroe Theatre in Hollywood.
