He is the eldest son of actor and model Ferry Salim and Merry Prakasa, and has two younger siblings, Brenda Nabila Salim and Raoul Sebastian Salim. Brandon began his career in the entertainment industry as the lead guitarist and songwriter for the band Lights ON. He later ventured into acting, making his film debut in 7 Hari Menembus Waktu (7 Days to Break Through Time) in 2015, which significantly boosted his popularity.
