Overview
The filming for Evergreen took place as part of the artistic intervention "Art Attack" during the Aithali Festival 2023. Participants visited the airport construction site and, after connecting with the space and its ghosts, engaged in creative actions, one of the results of which is the short film Evergreen. The Aithali Festival 2023 is organized by the Citizens' Initiative for the Rescue, Promotion, and Sustainable Development of the Valley and the organisation Save the Valley, with the aim of acquiring tools and knowledge, creating paths and ways to effectively defend our land and freedom. The efforts of the Initiative and Save the Valley focus on preventing the creation of the new airport in Kastelli, a project estimated to bring enormous environmental and economic catastrophe to the area without any real profit.
