Bhuwan KC (born Aug 23, 1957) is a legendary superstar and filmmaker often hailed as the "Romantic Hero" who defined the commercial landscape of Nepali cinema for over four decades. After starting his career as a singer at Radio Nepal, he transitioned to acting and achieved historic success with the 1985 blockbuster Kusume Rumal(1985), which remained the country’s highest-grossing film for twenty years. His prolific career includes era-defining hits like Samjhana(1983), Saino(1988), Chino(1991), and Dakshina(1994).
